Opalescence® makes three different types of teeth whitening systems: a custom at-home version, an on-the-go version, and a version that can only be applied by your dentist. If you're curious about which option is right for you, it can be helpful to understand the distinctions between each product and the benefits they provide. Below is an overview of the three types of Opalescence teeth whitening systems to help you decide which one is right for you.

Opalescence PF

This at-home variety contains the Opalescence gel, which has potassium nitrate and fluoride (PF), two essential components that promote sparkling teeth. Available in three flavors (regular, mint, and melon), you apply the gel to your custom-fitted whitening tray and insert the tray over your teeth. In as little as 15 minutes per day, you can ensure your teeth stay hydrated and their crisp, clean color stays intact.

Opalescence Go

Opalescence Go is a teeth whitening system for the person on the move. Convenient, comfortable-to-wear trays are prefilled with the line's signature PF gel. You just slip on the tray and wear it for either 30 to 60 minutes for 5 to 10 days or 15 to 20 minutes for 5 to 10 days, depending on the concentration you choose. The Go variety comes in either mint or melon flavors.

Opalescence Boost

This version of the Opalescence PF gel has a 40 percent hydrogen peroxide content for a true power-bleaching experience. The Boost treatment can only be applied by a licensed dentist, and it takes an hour or less to achieve noticeable and dramatic results.

By considering your lifestyle and the extent of the teeth whitening you're aiming for, you can decide which option is best for your most dazzling smile.
