Is it becoming increasingly difficult to navigate the stairs in your home? Why should it mean losing access to things like your bedroom, laundry room, or basement? Even worse, why should it mean leaving your home to live in an assisted living facility?

For many people, a stair lift is the perfect solution to help them stay in their home. Compared to the cost of an assisted living facility ($3,000 to $6,000 per month), a stair lift is an affordable alternative!

How to Get Started

1) Request a Quote & Measurement

Stair Lifts are custom-fit to each staircase, and thus the first step in the purchase process is to request a measurement appointment. During this appointment, a Lincoln Mobility representative will (1) measure the length and width of your staircase, (2) ensure the availability of adequate power (standard outlet), and (3) take note of any obstacles such as tight fitting doorways and hand railings. To request a quote and measurement, call Lincoln Mobility at 402-421-8800 or submit a request form online at LincolnMobility.com!

2) Schedule an Installation Appointment

After a Lincoln Mobility representative has measured and assessed your staircase, it’s time to schedule an installation appointment! We prepare the stair unit at our store, so most installation appointments are complete in less than an hour and a half!

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the unit get power?

All Bruno stair lifts are battery-operated with a charger that plugs into a standard AC outlet. The charger should remain plugged in at all times. A single outlet is required at the top or bottom of the staircase.

How long does the unit take to install?

After initial measurement and quote, most of the “prep work” is completed at our store before installation. Actual installation time is typically between 60 and 90 minutes.

How does the unit mount?

The Elan Straight Rail stair lift mounts to the steps – not the wall. Each “foot” is secured by four lag bolts. Depending on the overall length of the stair lift, the unit is secured with 4-7 “feet.”
